Inner Spaces Between the Books

Interactive painting installation at the Chess House Library, Tel Aviv, 2008. Reproductions glued on plywood with added paint and carving. The creations were placed on the library shelves among the books.
The exhibition was also shown in Dina Bookshop Gallery, Ra’anana, 2010.

“Inner Spaces Between the Books” is a different exhibition from the usual. Unlike traditional paintings hanging on the walls, this exhibition features paintings inserted between the books. The viewer must come across them, look for them, pull them out, and feel them in their hands.

The subject of the paintings explores architectural interior spaces as symbols of inner spaces. The new location adds additional meaning to the works, referring to the new spaces created within the reader while engaging with a book.
