Oil on tin panels, different sizes between 200 x 130 cm.
This series features paintings of figures of monumental size. Painting on metal panels allows me to place them on the floor or in outdoor displays in public spaces. They will work especially well if we place them inside the garden, under the shade of a tree. I call them ‘floor paintings’ because, unlike a painting on paper, these paintings do not need a wall; they need the floor, and they become objects with a physical presence
This series was created after a “Hug on wood” and, like it, deals with the connection between humans and nature in and around them.
