This series features oil paintings of flowers on panels taken from a construction site. The traditional subject of still life takes on a new meaning on these wooden panels-remnants of a tree that once lived. The combination of flowers with Christian iconography and Israeli building boards creates a new tension. It seems that once again, art seeks to explore the themes of life and death
